July 1st Changes at the Recycle Depot!
Effective on July 1st, 2025, the Recycle with Centra Cam depot will implement new procedures and locations for dropping off residential recycling commodities at the facility.
These changes are due to provincial changes to the Alberta Recycling program which will see the management of the program transfer from municipalities to industry groups.
This new arrangement begins in Camrose on July 1st, 2025 and will affect how residents drop off their residential recyclables at the Recycle with Centra Cam depot. The changes are quite minor and should be easy to adjust to.
Changes to be aware of:
On July 1st, all residential recyclers dropping off items at the depot will now place their items in specialized outdoor collection containers.
Residential recycling products will no longer be accepted inside the main building at the facility.
Nothing else changes, and you will still be able to recycle everything that could before. We are simply providing different bins to place the products in.

The Recycling Depot is staffed from:

Monday to Friday - 8 am to 4 pm
Data Destruction and Paper Shredding services are only available during staffed hours.
